Showmee Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Showmee! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Showmee Platform and the services provided by Showmee Entertainment, operated by Showmee Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as "we," "our," "us"). By accessing or using the Showmee platform (located at https://showmee.in), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our platform.

Platform Overview

Showmee is a dynamic content creation and monetization platform designed to empower creators by allowing them to share photos, videos, and stories while building meaningful relationships with their audience. Our mission is to provide a secure and compliant ecosystem where creators can express their creativity and earn from their passion.

General Terms

  • Acceptance of Terms: By using Showmee, you agree to abide by these Terms and any additional policies, notices, or guidelines provided by showmee.
  • Amendments: showmee reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the platform signifies your acceptance of the modified Terms.
  • Binding Contract: These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy, form a legally binding agreement between you and Showmee Entertainment, operated by Showmee Entertainment.
  • Compliance: You agree to comply with all applicable laws, including Indian laws and international regulations as applicable.

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or have the express consent of a parent or guardian, to use Showmee.
  • Users located outside India must ensure their use of showmee complies with the laws of their country.

Account Registration and Security

  • Registration: To access the platform, you must create an account by providing accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Account Suspension: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account in case of suspicious or fraudulent activity.
  • Content Ownership and Responsibility:In the event that a creator or user uploads content (such as photos, videos, or any other intellectual property) that belongs to another creator, we are not responsible for any legal consequences that may arise. However, if we receive a complaint, we will provide the relevant user details to the complaining party for resolution. To verify the legitimacy of such claims, we may require a video call to confirm the identity of the user involved before taking any further action, including account restrictions.
  • Account Termination:If you wish to terminate your account, a request must be submitted by the user or creator. The account termination process will be completed within 7 days after receiving the request.

Content Usage Policy

  • Ownership of Content: Creators retain full ownership of their content uploaded to showmee, including photos, videos, and stories. By uploading content, you grant showmee a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute your content for the purpose of providing our services.
  • Prohibited Content: You are prohibited from posting any content that violates applicable laws, infringes on intellectual property rights, or is deemed inappropriate or harmful. showmee reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.
  • Copyright Compliance: Users must respect the intellectual property rights of others. Any content that infringes on copyright may be removed, and your account may be terminated.

Monetization and Payments

  • Revenue Sharing: Creators will receive 80% of the revenue generated from their content, while Showmee retains 20%. This revenue is derived from subscription fees paid by users for access to premium content.
  • Payment Methods: Payments will be processed securely through third-party gateways, and showmee complies with all relevant financial regulations, including the RBI and FEMA guidelines for international transactions.
  • Taxes: Creators are responsible for their tax obligations. Indian creators will be subject to TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), while international creators are required to comply with their respective country’s tax laws.
  • Refund Policy: All transactions are final. Refunds may be considered for technical issues, subject to verification by showmee's support team.

International Transactions

  • Currencies: Payments are processed in multiple currencies, including USD, EUR, and GBP. Exchange rates may apply based on payment gateway terms.
  • KYC Compliance: High-value transactions may require Know Your Customer (KYC) verification as per Indian law and regulatory requirements.
  • Chargebacks and Disputes: Any disputes regarding international payments will be handled by the payment gateway provider, and additional fees may apply for chargebacks or refunds.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any illegal activities or promote harmful behavior.
  • Post content that is offensive, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on intellectual property rights.
  • Engage in fraudulent activities or misuse the payment systems on the platform.

ShowMee – Terms & Conditions for Creators Offering Custom Services

This agreement applies to all creators on ShowMee who offer custom services to their fans or users through the platform.

1. Custom Service Delivery Timeline

  • All custom services must be delivered within 30 days from the date the order is confirmed.

  • The delivery must be acknowledged and confirmed via email by both the User and the Creator. This confirmation serves as proof that the custom service was successfully completed and accepted by both parties.

2. Confirmation Requirement

  • After delivering the custom service, the Creator must ensure the User sends a confirmation email.

  • Once both parties confirm the completion, ShowMee will consider the service as “Delivered & Accepted.”

3. Payment Schedule

  • Creators will receive payment for the custom service 30 days after the transaction date.

  • This holding period allows for service verification, user confirmation, and handling of any potential disputes.

4. Non-Delivery or Disputes

  • If a custom service is not delivered within 30 days, or confirmation is not received, the transaction may be canceled, and a refund may be issued to the user.

  • Repeated non-delivery or lack of communication may result in suspension or removal of the Creator’s ability to offer custom services on ShowMee.

5. General Guidelines

  • All custom services must follow ShowMee’s content policies and community guidelines.

  • The service must be original and personally created by the Creator.

  • Misleading or fraudulent behavior is strictly prohibited.

6. Updates to Terms

Terms & Conditions for Adding Funds

By adding funds to your ShowMee account, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Usage of Funds

  • Once a transaction is successfully completed through any payment mode (e.g., UPI, credit/debit card, net banking, wallets), the added amount will be credited to your ShowMee wallet/account.

  • The funds added are non-transferable and can be used only within the ShowMee platform for availing products or services offered.

2. No Refund Policy

  • All fund additions are final and non-refundable.

  • Under no circumstances shall the added amount be refunded to your original payment method or transferred to any other account or platform.

3. User Responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for ensuring the correct amount is added and that the transaction is intentional.

  • ShowMee will not be held liable for any errors in the amount added due to user input or technical issues from the payment provider.

4. Modification of Terms

  • ShowMee reserves the right to update or change these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your agreement to the new terms

Disclaimer of Warranties

  • Showmee provides the platform and its services "as is" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free functionality.
  • We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access, third-party actions, or failure to perform on the platform.

Limitation of Liability

  • Showmee is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or content posted on it.
  • We are not responsible for any loss of data, reputation, or business opportunities that may occur due to your use of Showmee.

Intellectual Property Rights

  • All trademarks, logos, and other content on showmee are either owned by Showmee Entertainment or the respective creators. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.
  • Users must respect the intellectual property rights of other users and creators.

Termination

  • Termination by Showmee: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate any of these Terms.
  • Termination by User: Users may terminate their account at any time by contacting support at support@showmee.in.

Force Majeure

Showmee will not be liable for delays or failures in performance caused by unforeseen events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or technical outages.

Dispute Resolution

  • Mediation: Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall first be attempted to resolve through mediation.
  • Arbitration: If mediation fails, the dispute will be resolved by arbitration under Indian law, specifically the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
  • Jurisdiction: The courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction for resolving any disputes.

Feedback

We welcome suggestions, comments, and feedback. By submitting feedback to showmee, you grant us the right to use it without compensation or obligation.

Terms and Conditions for Showmee Wallet Bonus Offers

By participating in the "Get Bonus When Adding Funds to Showmee Wallet" promotion, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Eligibility & Offer Details:
Bonus Offer Structure:
Add ₹2499: Receive ₹2699 in total (Bonus of ₹200).
Add ₹4499: Receive ₹4999 in total (Bonus of ₹500).

Fund Addition Process:
When you add funds to your Showmee wallet, you will initially receive the actual amount added.
The bonus amount will be credited only when you complete the task as specified below.
Task Completion:
Task Requirement:
To unlock your bonus, you must send a unique code to Showmee's official Instagram account, @showmee.in. (You get your unique code from us, send payment screenshot to us on instagram. and get your unique code at the time of transaction.)
The code must be sent exactly 151 days after the transaction date.
Code Submission Time:
The code should be sent at 1:00 AM on the specified date (151 days after the transaction).
You will have exactly 5 minutes from 1:00 AM to send the code.
Bonus Credit Condition:
If you send the code within 5 minutes, your bonus (the remaining amount) will be credited to your wallet.
If the code is sent after 5 minutes, you will lose the opportunity to claim your bonus.
General Terms:
Adherence to All Terms:
By participating in this offer, you agree to comply with all Showmee Wallet Terms and Conditions.
If you fail to follow any of these terms, your eligibility for the bonus may be forfeited.
Changes to the Promotion:
Showmee reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel this promotion at any time without prior notice.
Liability:
Showmee is not responsible for any delays, errors, or technical issues related to the code submission or Instagram communication.
